Schools organise Summer clean
An audience member at the recent talk at the library knew quite a lot about our cemetery. She told us that after exams and before the summer holidays children from four local secondary schools were drafted in to clear all the growth. Each school was given a quarter of the cemetery to tidy up. A sort of Community Pay Forward scheme! Were you one of those who helped? Let us have your story. |
