Open day - cold weather again

Saturday 31st March

Will we ever have fine weather for our Open Days? The highlight of this event was being able to enjoy the brilliant new lighting in the Chapel. (Thank you Town Council) We had a steady trickle of visitors and Friends and three tours were taken up. The Monuments Recording Team were working through the day and were able to help locate specific graves for relatives and researchers.

Our youngest visitor was delighted by the "loveliness" of ladybirds hidden in the Chapel door and helped tidy up the grave of Mary Stuart Hall, one of our resident authors.
