Cemetery Remembrance event Cancelled

The Friends will not be holding a public remembrance event in the Cemetery this year

Following the announcement of a second national Covid-19 lockdown, please be aware that the Friends will NOT be holding a public act of remembrance in the cemetery this year as it would break the lockdown rules and be too difficult to organise with the rules on social distancing and we could not guarantee that member of the public would be kept safe.

The Committee will still place poppies on all the Commonwealth War graves and the memorials to those who died overseas during the two world wars to ensure we do not forget those who paid the price for our freedom.
