                George Cox, born in Kintbury, married Caroline Whiting from Welford. They were licensee's of The Gun, Wash Common. He left £129. After George's death, Caroline continued as licensee of The Gun.Before marriage, Caroline was a dressmaker of 'The City' & West Mills, Newbury.
