    Thomas Charles Long was a cutler & ironmonger. He worked in Canterbury, Kent for a time before returning to Newbury. He married Florence Thatcher, daughter of John Thatcher, Farmer of Winterbourne & Enborne Farms & wife of Thomas Charles Long, cutler, above. She worked as a housekeeper to her Uncle Charles, farmer of Enborne before her marriage and died in Rose Cottage, Chieveley. Sources: Ancestry records
