  From top of headstone: In Loving memory of/ Thomas Rowles/ of New Farm, Shaw/ who passed away Dec.2nd.1901/ aged 75 years./ "In Thy presence is fullness of joy."/ And of PHEBE, his wife/ who died at Cold Ash/ April 27th. 1919/ aged 80 years. / And of Christine/ daughter of the above/ who fell asleep Nov. 3rd 1940 aged 78 years. "Until the day break."/ From top to bottom of plaque: D.M. Rowles - Dec.19 1965/ R.M. Rowles - Nov.19 1966/ "Redeemed by the precious blood of Christ. 1 Peter 1,19. / Also of Cpl. Charles S. Rowles/ Canadian Mounted Rifles/ son of the above / Killed in action at Ypres in Flanders/ June 2nd. 1916/ aged 33 years. / Peace perfect peace./
