Edith is the daughter of William Knight & his first wife, Ellen nee Still, buried in ChNWW7 below. She had two step-mothers, Ellen's sister, Edith's Aunt Jane and another Ellen both buried with her brother Frank in ChNWW7. William, born in Newbury, was a Miller of Cheap St & Bartholomew St. He had Edith, Frank & Henry with the first Ellen & a son, James, much later with second wife Ellen. He & Ellen II finally lived in the Kimber Almshouses, Newbury. At one time, William lived next door in Cheap St to another William Knight, a baker. Source: ancestry.co.uk
