  Headstone: Sacred / to the Memory of / George Edward Colborn / infant son of / Edward & Ellen Knight / who died May 23rd 1862: / Aged 11 months. / This tender bud so young and fair / Called hence by early doom / Did come to show how sweet a flower / In Paradise would bloom. / Also of / George Edward. / their second son / who died May 16th. 1872, aged 8. months. // Footstone: E.G.C.K. / 1865 / G.E.K. / 1872 //

    Edward & George were infant sons of Edward & Ellen who lived in Bartholomew St., working as a mealman. They then moved to Town Mills, West Mills as Corn Millers. After Edward's death, Ellen managed the mill & employed 7 men & 1 boy. Edward & Ellen Knight are buried in CHNW1 with d. Caroline Ellen Church. Source: ancestry.co.uk records
