   North side of slab: In Loving memory of Stephen Osmond of Mount Pleasant, Cold Ash, Newbury who died Jan. 16th. 1881 aged 62 years. "For me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. Ph Lu. 21v." South side of slab: In Loving memory of Caroline Amelia (sic) Osmond relict of Stephen Osmond died March 17th.1905 aged 83 years.
