East facing kerbstone: "In perfect peace, in perfect rest"./ Central shield: In Loving Memory of/ our dear Son and Brother/ Herbert George Rosier/ who died in France March 26th. 1918/ aged 36 years./ "Oh loving heart....(remainder unreadable")
