Mrs. P. transcribed last line (now eroding) as "when thou passeth through the waters I will be with thee." Isaiah ? XL111, v 1.2. Ancestry research: Eliza Gould (previously married to Charles Allen) is the third wife of John Gould (1825-1904). See LS44 for John Gould's previous wives.
