South side of sloping top: In Loving Memory of /John Slade/ who fell asleep in Jesus Sept 26 1868/ Aged 66 years Unreadable/ Also of Sarah Pullet Slade/ who died Oct 9 1885 aged 80 years Motto unreadable/ North side of sloping stone: Also of William son of/ John and Sarah Pollett Slade/ who exchanged mortality for life on the/ 21st March 1873 aged 23 years./ "Yea though I walk through the valley unreadable / and of John, his elder brother who/ slept in Jesus Sunday May 4th 1873 aged 27 years/ And of Eliza, widow of the late M H Fanstone/ and sister of the above, died Jan11th 1884 aged 36 years. East side of sloping stone: In / Loving Memory/ of/ Matthew H Fanstone/ who died at Donnington/ Dec 11th 1882 aged 55 years/ "Therefore be ye also ready for in such an hour as ye think/ not the Son of Man Cometh./
