  "On N side of roof: In Memory of / Henry Hawe Mason / (of Minerva Villa, Newbury) / who died Feb.25th 1880 aged 54 years. / But now is Christ risen from the dead and become the first /fruits of them that slept. 1 Cor XV, 20// On S side of roof: In Memory of / Mary widow of Henry Hawe Mason / who died at Hermitage, Swindon, Sepr 11th 1881 / aged 59 years. So He giveth His beloved sleep."
   
  Coped roof tomb on rectangular base. Part eroded with flaking on both sides. Iron railings, with 1 chain missing. Engraved lettering fading. Subsiding to S.
