    Elizabeth Westall was born in Sept, 1843 in Rowbury, Boxford to Agricultural Labourer William Westall & his wife Mariah nee Dobson of Ramsbury. Elizabeth, also known as Betsey, is recorded in 1861 as a Servant to the Registrar of Births, Deaths & Marriages at London Rd, Reading. In 1891 she was described as a Nurse (Domestic) in a family of young children & their parents, Commander & Mrs Charles Burt of 1, Danebury Villas, Ventnor, Isle of Wight. In 1901 she was living with her niece & nephew, Charles & Elizabeth Lawrence, a Weigh Bridge asst, in Boxford, working as a Needlewoman. Her death certificate describes her as a Domestic Nurse who died of cardiac failure & cancer of the uterus in the Union Workhouse Infirmary, Newtown Rd, Newbury.
