NB In Mrs P's index, Arthur's age at birth is shown on the MI to be 2 yrs 3 mths. However, he was born in October 1907 so he was 2 years 8 mths. Arthur George was the elder child & only son of Arthur Vockins, Carpenter, & Beatrice Ann "Annie" Ford both orignially of Hungerford who married in July 1905. Their younger chld, Florence was born after her brother's deth in 1912. When Arthur George was born and died he was living at 3, Arthur Rd, Newbury. Soon after his death his parents mved to 1, Berkeley Rd., Newbury. His father served in the Air Force in WW1 and by 1939 had become a Master Builder of 66, Enborne Rd., Newbury, where he died.
