Henry was born in Paddington, London to a tile fixer. He became a bricklayer and in 1902 married Rosa Kate Curtis in Little Ilford Essex. They had a daughter in Beedon, Berks in 1904 & another in Grateley, Hants., the year after. In 1911 they had moved to Highworth, Wilts. and by 1920 to 12, Gloucester Rd, Newbury. By 1939 he had become a Master Builder and were living at Annsville, 57, St John's Rd, Newbury. Henry died there in 1944 leaving £12811 in his Will to his daughters. Rosa lived there until 1953 when she left £5000 to her daughters in her Will. Source: Rosa's dob & data from Ancestry records & NRC Burial record.
