From top of Headstone: In Loving Memory Of/ Kate/ beloved wife of/ William Brain/ who passed away Sept. 28th. 1923/ aged 56 years./ Also of/ William Brain/ who departed this life Feb. 22nd. 1929/ aged 74 years./ "Both resting upon the eternal promise/ of God./ And this is the promise that He has/ promised us, Even Eternal Life. St. John. / "I will ransom them from the power of/ the grave./ And I will redeem them from Death." Hosea 13, 14. East facing Kerbstone: inscription Osborne bottom right hand corner.
