Thomas Pinnock

c1819-1895

 

Thomas was born in Hungerford Berkshire he was baptised on the 6th August 1820 in Hungerford and was the son of Elizabeth Pinnock. (Elizabeth married Abraham Nobbs in 1821).

Thomas was a Leather Dresser, he married Mary Norris in 1841 and they had the following children:

William 1843 (died aged 4 buried 24th December 1847)

Emma 1845 (died aged 4 in 1850)

Tom 1846

 

In 1851 Thomas, Mary and their son Tom were living in St Bartholomew Almshouses with Mary’s father William Norris.

Mary’s father died in 1857. After his death the family moved to Bartholomew Street. By 1871 Tom had left home and Mary and Thomas were living in Northcroft Lane, later they moved to Enborne (Enborne House).

Mary died aged 70 on the 28th January 1880 she was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 3rd February.

Thomas continued to live in Enborne until his death in 1895 he died aged 74 on the 29th May and was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 1st June.
