Mary Nalder

1849-1851

 

Mary was born Mary Matilda in 1849 in Newbury she was the daughter of Richard & Harriet Ann Nalder (nee Pocock) who married in Newbury in 1846. Her father was a Tailor.

Mary’s siblings were:

Mary Matilda died aged 1 in 1851 she was buried in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 14th January (recorded as Mary)

In 1851 her mum, dad and her sister Sarah (recorded as Ann) were living in Railway Terrace Newbury. 

Her brother Frederick Richard died aged 2 in 1853 he was buried in the Newtown Cemetery on the 27th December.

In the 1861 census her father was recorded as a widower, (her mum having died in Kingsclere in 1858) living in Back Lane Newbury with her sister, Sarah Ann and her brothers Frederick and William.

Her dad Richard died aged 47 in 1862 he was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 7th January.
