Harriet Elizabeth Draper

1862-1863

 Harriet was born in Newbury in 1862, she was baptised on the 10^th August 1862 at St Nicolas Church Newbury she was the daughter of Jesse & Harriet Draper (nee Messenger) who were married in Newbury in 1849. The family lived in Newbury and her father Jesse was a Sadler & Harness Maker.

Harriet’s siblings were:

Her mother also gave birth to 3 stillborn children who were buried in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the following dates: 29^th August 1857, 12^th October 1858 and 30^th November 1859

Harriet died aged 8 months in 1863 and was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 25^th February 1863.

Both of Harriet’s parents and her brother William Barnes were also buried in the Newtown Road Cemetery.
