Louisa was born on 27th December 1864. While living in Robeson's Yard, off Bartholomew Street, in squalor and poverty, Louisa died from scarlatina on 4th August 1865, aged just over 7 months. Louisa was buried on the same day as her death, which, perhaps, reflects the contagious implications of scarlatina.
