William George Lipscombe
He was born c. 1837 in Newbury (Woodspeen). He married Louisa Willis in 1859 in Newbury. In 1861 he is living at 8 Union Chapel Yard with his wife Louisa, his occupation Chairmaker (journeyman). Then he moved to 12 Lewis’s Building (Bartholomew Street) with Louisa and their daughter Martha (age 9). In 1881 he is living in West Mills with Louisa, daughter Annie (age 9), son Henry (age 7) and his widowed mother-in-law Eliza Willis, aged 77. He died aged 53 years in 1890 Newbury and he is buried with John Thomas and Ann Lipscomb.
