Caroline WELLS was born Caroline CURTIS in Dec. Q 1851 to Israel and Ann Curtis. In 1861 they were living at Eyles Yard, Bartholomew Street, Newbury - Israel was a Marine Store Dealer. She married John WELLS in the Dec. Q 1870 at Newbury. In 1871 they were living at Greenham Street Blue Ball Yard. John's occupation is shown as Coal Porter. She died on 25 June 1875 whilst in childbirth.
