1861 census    4yrs old see Frederick Chivers.

1871 census    15yrs old living as a servant with Joseph and Pricilla Rolfe, shopkeepers.

1881 census    25yrs old, a bricklayer living with parents – see Frederick Chivers.

1881                Married **Harriett Elizabeth Cummins.

1901 census    Living at Bunkers Hill, Enborne with wife, Harriett aged 40 , sons Thomas aged 19, (bricklayer) and George aged 16. Also daughters Ellen aged 16, a dressmaker’s apprentice, Edith aged 13 and Anne aged 8.

1911 census    Living at Rose Cottage, Wash Common, a bricklayer , with wife Harriet and daughters Ellen Jane aged 26, a dressmaker,  and Anne Marie aged 18,  teacher. Both single

Died 1926 aged 70, buried 8th December.
