Kate Agnes was born c1892, in Newbury, Berkshire. She was baptied on the 9th March 1892, at St Nicolas Church, Newbury, the daughter of Albert Henry and Rosa Ellen Bristow (nee Arnold)
Kate Agnes died aged 5, on the 2nd February 1897, she was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 6th February.
Kate Agnes’ family:
Her father Albert Henry was born on the 12th March 1859 in Worcestershire, the son of Henry James and Sarah Elizabeth Bristow (nee Thorn) who were married in 1850 (married registered in Warminster, Wiltshire)
Her mother Rose Ellen was born in 1860, she was baptised on the 5th November 1862, (as Rosa Ellen), in Thatcham, Berkshire, the illegitimate daughter of Rebekah Arnold. Rebekah married Charles White on the 16th October 1862, in Thatcham, Berkshire. 1871 and 1881 census records record Rosa’s surname as White.
Rose Ellen Arnold had an illegitimate daughter, Augusta Rose Arnold, born on the 26th March 1879, in the Newbury Workhouse. (Augusta was later known as Rose and Rose Augusta)

In 1901 Albert (42), a Chairmaker, Rosa (40) and their children, Henry (16), Frank (14), May (13), Emily (10), Edith (7) and (not yet named) Elsie Margaret, aged 1 month, were living at 1, Falkland-place, Newbury.
The 1911 census records Albert (52), a Chairmaker, Rosa (49) and their children, Henry James (26), a Chairmaker and Elsie (10), living in Crowfield, Newtown, Thatcham. (Surname mistakenly recorded as Bristone on ancestry)
Rosa Ellen died aged 74, on the 17th July 1935. At the time of her death, she was living in St John’s Road, Thatcham. She was buried on the 20th July, at St Mary’s Church Cemetery, in Thatcham, Berkshire.
The 1939 Register records Albert Henry as a Pensioner, living at 7 Southend, Cold Ash, Berkshire, with his son, Henry James and Alice M. M. Bristow.
Albert Henry died aged 81, on the 11th October 1940. At the time of his death, he was living at 7 South End, Cold Ash, Berkshire. He was buried on the 15th October, at St Mary, Thatcham.
