HENRY FLINT
According to the 1841 census, he seems to have been the half-brother of Samuel Flint (Mayor in 1871). The census was transcribed incorrectly, "Henry" appearing as "Mary". Henry was born in about 1808 and Samuel in about 1825, so it highly unlikely that they had the same mother. Their father John Flint appears to have been a brewer and coal merchant in Cheap Street, although the writing is unclear.
