Nellie Bonnett
1888-1902
Nellie was born on the 19th November 1888, in Pontypridd, Wales, the daughter of Charles and Jane Bonnett (nee Brown).
Her father Charles was baptised on the 25th May 1851, at Holy Trinity, Yeovil, Somerset, the son of Charles (a Musician) & Elizabeth Bonnett (recorded as Bownet, on ancestry)
Her mother Jane was baptised on the 6th March 1853, in Berry Pomeroy, Devon, the daughter of William (a Labourer) and Mary Brown (nee Hodge) who were married on the 7th May 1852, in Berry Pomeroy.
Jane gave birth to an illegitimate daughter, Bertha, born in Blagdon on the 12th November 1877 who was baptised on the 16th December 1877 at St Mary Collaton, Devon.
Charles and Jane were married on the 2nd June 1884, at St Mary, Collaton, Devon

Mary Adela, born c1893 in Pontypridd
The 1891 census records Charles (39) as a General Labourer, living at 3 Morgan Terrace, Llantrisant, Glamorgan, Wales, with Jane (38), Bertha (13) (born Brown), Lilian (4), Nellie (2) and William Edward (2 months).
Charles died aged 41 in 1893 (death registered in the September quarter, in Pontypridd)
The 1901 census records Jane (47) as a Charwoman, living at 2 Bell House, Blagdon, Paignton, Devon, with her son, William (10) and her daughter Mary (8).
Bertha Bonnett (23) (born Brown) and Nellie (12) were working as Domestic Housemaids at Harborough House, Bartholomew Street, Newbury, Berkshire. Their aunt, Elizabeth Brown (45) was also working there as a Domestic Cook.
Nellie died aged 13 on the 22nd July 1902. She was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 25th July.
Jane (58), a Charwoman and her son William (20), a Labourer, were still living at Bell House Blagdon in 1911.
Jane died aged 75 in 1928, in Devon
