Edwin Midwinter

Born in Newbury 1853, son of Charles and Sophia.  Charles had taken over the business of seed merchant and grower of John Shaw, who grew his seed in what is now NRC we believe.  Charles started the business of corn merchant in cheap street in 1860

Edwin was ordained as a missionary in 1876 at Newbury Congregational church.  he left for India in March 1876.  He died in Vizagapatam
