Beatrice Bellinger

1886-1890

Beatrice was born in Newbury, the daughter of George (a Bricklayer) and Elizabeth Bellinger (nee Wright) who were married in 1879 (marriage registered in Newbury)

Twins: Daisy and Rose c1889 (Daisy died aged 4 months in 1889, she was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 7^th June)

Beatrice also had a half-sister Alice Mary Wright (later known as Alice Mary Bellinger) who was born on the 14^th February 1878, baptised on the 8^th March 1878 at St Nicolas Church Newbury (born before her mother married, no father recorded on the baptism record).

Beatrice died on the 8^th November 1890 aged 4 years and 2 months, she was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 12^th November.

In 1891 the family were living in Mayor’s Lane Newbury. By 1901 they had moved to 16 Adey’s Buildings, Stroud Green, Newbury.

Beatrice’s mother Elizabeth died aged 50 on the 8^th June 1909, she was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 12^th June.

Her father George remarried in 1912, his 2^nd wife was Annie Lavinia Preston (nee Wright). (Annie was George’s sister-in-law, his 1^st wife’s sister)

George died aged 72 on the 9^th August 1932 he was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 12^th August.
