Additional Information:

Died of consumption contracted during war service. He was acting as an observer in France and was spotted by an enemy aviator who shot him through the shoulder with a machine gun bullet. He was taken to hospital in Reading in October 1917.

Named on a Memorial at St. Bartholomew’s School.
