Edward Langton

Edward was born in Newbury in 1861 he was the eldest child of James & Emily Langton (nee Copes) who were married in Newbury in 1860. James was born in Newbury c1836 and was a Bricklayer, Emily was born in Reading c1836.

Edward died aged 0 in 1862 he was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 2nd April
The family lived in St Mary’s Hill Newbury until at least 1871 but by 1881 they were living in Sackville Place, by 1907 they had moved again and were living in The Folly Pyle Hill Newbury.
Edward’s father James died aged 72 on the 7th November 1907, he was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 11th November
His mother Emily died aged 83 on the 20th October 1921, she was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 25th October
