John Goddard was b in 1833.  His father was Richard Goddard, born Brimpton 1797, a school teacher and publican.

He married a Lavinia Few and had a son John Richard goddard ( died 12/9/1924)

John Goddard died aged 48 at Cholsey, the lunatic asylem
