William Paris
1795-1872
William was born in Hampshire he was baptised on the27th December 1795 in Upton Gray Hampshire and was the son of Charles and Elizabeth Paris (nee Lovett) who were married in Upton Gray on the 16th November 1793.
Charles and Elizabeth also had the following children (all baptised in Upton Gray):

William married Ann Willis on the 2nd January 1820 at St Nicolas Church Newbury and they had the following children:
Mary born c1827 Lambeth Surrey
Charles c1831 Newbury
William Henry c1833 Newbury
Jane c1835 Newbury
In 1841 William (45) was recorded as a Straw Hat Manufacturer living in Northbrook Street Newbury with Ann (40) and his children, Mary (13), Charles (10), William (8) and Jane (6).
Various UK City and County Directories (1847-1854) record William as a Beer Retailer in Northbrook Street Newbury.
Both the 1851 and 1861 census records record William as a Brewer living in Northbrook Street with his family.
Ann died aged 59 in 1860 she was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 27th January.
The 1871 census records William (75), as an Annuitant, living with his son Charles and his family at Bridge Brewery Newbury.
By 1872 William was living in Brixton Surrey. He died aged 76 on the 20th March 1872 (death registered in Lambeth) he was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 27th March
