Charlotte Wheeler

She was born 17 March 1835, the youngest daughter of Charles and Maria Wheeler.  She was baptised on 31 May 1835 at the Newbury Lower Independent Meeting House.

She grew up in Speen with her elder sister Elizabeth and 2 brothers David Dines and Charles. Later, together with her brother Charles, she assisted her father in his ironmongery shop in The Broadway, Speenhamland.

She died a spinster at the the young age of 33 years on 31 August 1868 and later buried on 4 September.
