John Parker

c1817-1862

John was born in Newbury he married Caroline Richens (born c1821 in Welford) in 1846 in Newbury and they had the following children:

John was a Grocer, Wine and Spirit Merchant, he was recorded in the 1851 and 1861 census living in Bartholomew Street Newbury, in 1851 he was employing 4 men and in 1861, 5 men.

John died aged 45 on the 26^th April 1862 he was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 29^th April.

Their so Frederick William died aged 28 on the 8^th February 1880 he was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery with his father on the 13^th February

Caroline continued living in Bartholomew Street and was recorded in both the 1881 and 1891 census records as a Grocer she died aged 74 on the 29^th April 1895 and was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 4^th May.
