Sarah Goodman

c1793-1861

Sarah Mason was born in Birmingham Warwickshire. She married James Goodman on the 26^th December 1825 at St Martin’s Birmingham Warwickshire. James was born c1798 in Newbury and was a Carpenter.

James and Sarah had the following children:

Eliza c1828

John c1830

Sarah c1833

Henry c1834

Joseph c1837

In 1841 the family were living in Northbrook Street Newbury. The 1851 census records the family living in Jack of Newbury Street Newbury.

James died aged 58 in 1856 he was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 25^th August

In the 1861 census Sarah was recorded as a Laundress she was visiting a Reuben and Mary Smart in Reading Berkshire.

Sarah died in 1861 she was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 23^rd August
