Mary’s husband George died sometime between 1812-1822 (no death found) and Mary remarried on the 9th June 1822 at St Mary’s Thatcham, her 2nd husband was John Totty Mayo (born c1777 in Newbury) who was a widower.

John and Mary had one son Thomas Totty born c1823 who was baptised on the 31st March 1823 at St Nicolas Church Newbury.

In 1841 they were living in West Mills Newbury but by 1851 they were living in Raymond’s Almshouses.
