Fannietta Wells

C1789-1861

Fannietta (aka Fanny) was born in Wiltshire she was baptised in Edington Wiltshire on the 20^th May 1789 (name recorded as Fanneta) and was the daughter of John and Elizabeth Wells.

John and Elizabeth also had the following children (all baptised in Edington):

In the 1841 census Fanny (50) was recorded as Independent, living in Hungerford Berkshire (Hop Grass Farm) with a Henry Neate (35) and William Neate (30) both recorded as Gentlemen and two female servants. The 1851 census records her as an Annuitant boarding with a George Mills (39) and his family at Broad Hinton Wiltshire.

 In 1861 Fanny (72) was living at Wash Common with her brother Phillip (70) a Malster and Wine Merchant and his wife Maria (70).

Fanny died in 1861 she was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 13^th November
