William Jerram

1862-1862

William was born in Wiltshire he was baptised on the 1^st June 1862 in Aldbourne and was the son of Thomas & Eliza Jerram (nee Painter) who were married on the 25^th July 1859 at St Michael’s Church Aldbourne. Both of his parents were born in Aldbourne, his father was Labourer and was born c1840 and his mother was born c1839.

Thomas & Eliza also had the following children:

George James 1867

In 1861 the family were living in Crooked Corner Aldbourne.

Although the family lived in Aldbourne William’s death was recorded in Newbury, he died aged 0 and was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 1^st September 1862.

William’s father died aged 28 in 1867.

His mother remarried in Aldbourne on the 6^th November 1869 her 2^nd husband was William Hessey, he was also an agricultural Labourer. She died aged 43 in 1883.
