William Jerram

1862-1862

 

William was born in Wiltshire he was baptised on the 1st June 1862 in Aldbourne and was the son of Thomas & Eliza Jerram (nee Painter) who were married on the 25th July 1859 at St Michael’s Church Aldbourne. Both of his parents were born in Aldbourne, his father was Labourer and was born c1840 and his mother was born c1839.

Thomas & Eliza also had the following children:

Sarah Ann 1860

Emily 1863-1863

Thomas 1865

George James 1867

In 1861 the family were living in Crooked Corner Aldbourne.

Although the family lived in Aldbourne William’s death was recorded in Newbury, he died aged 0 and was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 1st September 1862.

William’s father died aged 28 in 1867.

His mother remarried in Aldbourne on the 6th November 1869 her 2nd husband was William Hessey, he was also an agricultural Labourer. She died aged 43 in 1883.
