William Fisher

1842-1862

William John was born in Wantage Berkshire he was the son of William and Mary Ann Fisher (nee Lovegrove) who married in Newbury in 1841

In 1851 he was living with his mother and grandparents John and Maria Lovegrove at the Lamb and Flag Newbury.

The 1861 census records him as a cripple living at home (Quaker’s Building Ground Cheap Street) with his mother, his sister Fanny (9) and his brother Henry (4).

William died aged 20 in 1862 he was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 25^th June.
